Pictures of Olivia!

This is after Olivia's baby blessing! The new (bigger) family! :)

We have a lot more picture on our facebook pages.

Baby Olivia

Olivia is finally here!! We are so happy! She is a perfect little baby! She was born August 28, 2009 She was 9 pounds even 19 1/2 inches long. We could not believe she was so big!! I got roughed up a little but I'm recovering quickly and am so grateful that everything went well and Olivia is very healthy! :) My mom was able to come out and be here to help out and it has been great! Life is going to be very different from here on but I know that it will be filled with so much joy, though it will take some getting used to!!!
Mikey is an AMAZING father and it has been so great having him home for the week. It was awesome for him being able to give her a blessing and feel how much Heavenly Father loves her and is depending on us to help her make it back home! It stinks Mikey has to go back to work tomorrow :( Not only that but mom and dad are leaving tomorrow too so it'll be a bit quieter here, but I'll be here with little Olivia!!! :)

I've been informed that I'm a slacker ;) so I'm going to do another post and hopefully I'll update more regularly!! :) We haven't been up to too much, just anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby girl!
Last weekend we drove up to Washington DC... 9 hour drive when 7 months pregnant, I do not advise it!!... to go through the temple with my friend Holly who is getting married next month! It was really great to see her and her parents! My ankles got really swollen from the drive so that was interesting, they were huge!! But I've thankfully recovered and they are back to normal size! We tried to go see some of the sites in DC, but after only a few minutes I started getting tired... and it looks like the white house, Washington monument, Lincoln memorial, etc. are all right together in the movies ... but it's a LIE!! They are all spread out, SO we just kind of looked at each of them from afar :) we decided we would go another time, like at some time when I'm not resembling a beached whale!
It's true I am huge, and I don't know if I look bigger than I feel, or feel bigger than I look but either way HOLY SMOKES it isn't comfortable!! The baby is seriously gettin all up in my space... I can't breathe, when I eat I feel like I'm going to pop, and my bladder holds about a teaspoon at a time! Oh the joys of pregnancy :) It is definitely worth it though! I can't wait to hold my baby in my arms!

Well I look like I'm really pregnant now!! For some reason I'm just huge already!! :) I am 14 weeks along so just over 3 months it'll still be another month and a half until we can find out what the baby's gender is, but last time we got to hear the heartbeat!! We are so excited!! (despite the look on my face that might say otherwise..)

Update on life

Well life is going pretty good here in South Carolina so far! Mikey is doing well at his job still training up to be an instructor for the navy. We still have almost no furniture, so that's been interesting!! I am pregnant!! Unfortunately I've been pretty sick, but I'm almost done with the first trimester. My stomach is starting to grow just a little and in the next few months the baby will be growing like crazy :) We are so excited and can't wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl! We have some girl names picked out but we're still trying to come up with some boy names that we like.

Our ward is really nice and we are starting to make some friends here. It is pretty different here in the south, like all of the restaurants that serve fried chicken, chicken and more chicken and the road signs (or the lack thereof) that keep us U-turning more than ever. I'm missing Arizona like crazy, but the sun is starting to pop out from the clouds every once in a while so that is exciting, until the mosquitoes start coming out too. But I'm so glad that it is getting warmer and I can get out and take walks now, I love the sun!!!!
